X-ray diagnostics – a panoramic picture, orthopantomograph Kodak-9000 3D
Radiovisiograph Kodak RVG -6500

«Matikyan» dental clinic widely uses advanced technologies and contemporary diagnostic equipment. Any dentist will state, that no dental treatment proceeds without preliminary diagnostics.
The main and one of the most operative methods of diagnostics is a panoramic picture (X-ray picture) on the basis of . On the basis of Kodak –(9000 3D) panoramic picture

the implantologist has the opportunity to examine the bone structure of both jaws in 3 dimensions and estimate the exact diagnosis. By means of Kodak- (RVG-6500) radiovisiograph the doctor controls the quality of channel denturing of a tooth. It also gives an opportunity to estimate the caries risk and prevent its development.
Only a trained specialist has the access to use orthopantomograph and radiovisiograph. The procedure of panoramic picture is absolutely harmless for the patient, as it uses the minimum doses of radiation. The difference between the orthopantomograph and radiovisiograph are the following: one of them is a type of X-ray picture (allows us to get the pictures of teeth, maxillary joints and cavities of a nose and pictures of the whole tooth alignment of children and adults), and the other is accordingly related to the digital radiodiagnostics.
The pictures of radiovisiograph are registered on a special matrix having high sensitivity towards X-rays. The picture we get (the panoramic picture) is transferred on the computer screen to be available in a printed form or on a CD. When using a radiovisiograph the beam load on the doctor and the patient reduces several times.
However high quality of diagnostics doesn’t mean expensive cost of the latter. «Matikyan» dental clinic always offers reasonable costs of all its services. Due to our work, our clinic has gained the love and trust of its patients.
