'Matikyan' dental and contemporary implantology clinicOur clinic was founded in 2007 by 40-year-experienced dentist Dr. Кaro Matikyan.
Dr. Matikyan Graduated from Yerevan State Medical University in 1971.
After his graduation he worked in a suburb of Yerevan in Echmiadzin till 1980. The same year he started working in №5 dental clinic in Yerevan as an orthopedist. In 2003 being invited by Dental Association of California (USA) he participated in a training–seminar on implantology. In 2008 being invited by the aforementioned association in San-Francisco he took part in an exhibition-sale of dental equipment and materials, where an agreement with «3M-imtec» corporation was signed on delivery of “ENDURE” dental implant systems and (MDA-system) mini-implants. In 2009 the European branch of «3 М» corporation offered our clinic a “master-class” program on implantology. In September 2009 a German implantologist Hertrude Meiser, a practising doctor from Baden-Baden (Germany), practised on-line several dental implantations in our clinic, during which 30 specialists from the majority of clinics in Yerevan were watching.
The selection of our specialists and medical personnel went in accordance with strict professional requirements of doctors. The doctors who expressed their desire to work in our clinic have to pass a certain period of work, after which the following results are analyzed (X-ray control, aesthetic effect, anesthesia, techniques of processing of a tooth, quality of moulds, application of complex aesthetic ceramic crowns, veneers), after which the doctor is accepted as an employee of our clinic. Our clinic's priority direction of activity is implantology of teeth. Implantology specialist of our clinic Tovmas Hakobyan has 14-year-old work experience in the field of implantology, he possesses the techniques of all kinds of plastic operations of maxillofacial area. He has a wide experience of processing the growing of bones in the field of maxillary bosoms (sinus-lifting). |
